This year we showcased the new UNIO Personal Reference Monitoring solution. Visitors had the chance to experience the seamless integration of in-room and personal headphone monitoring, made possible by our two stations featuring a pair of ultra nearfield 8331As, 9320A SAM Reference Controller, Reference Measurement Microphone, and the brand-new 8550A Professional Reference Headphones. Visitors were given a demo of the advanced headphone calibration features in GLM delivering a unified monitoring experience between the studio monitors and the headphones.

Inside our demo room we had a fully calibrated Smart Active Monitoring immersive system featuring 8361As paired with W371A SAM™ woofer systems as L-C-R, four 8351Bs for surrounds, four 8341As for overheads, and a 7380A subwoofer.

Over the three day exhibition we had presentations by Alan Meyerson, Andrew Scheps, Bob Clearmountain, Richard Devine, Sylvia Massy, Dolby, Lucy Kalantari, Ben Bloomberg, Frank Filipetti, Justin Gray, Carlos Rodgarman, Eric Horstmann, and an immersive plugin demonstration by Eventide.

Our proudest moment of NAMM 2025 was being presented with a TEC Award for our 9320A SAM Reference Controller, which serves as a single touchpoint for the UNIO Ecosystem, offering integrated in-room and headphone monitoring features. It manages multiple Smart Active Monitoring systems, from stereo to immersive, and includes a factory-calibrated reference microphone for automated calibration and control of GLM software.
